Over the two days of this workshop, Jodi + the team at Roebuck Farm will guide you through what needs to be considered in establishing + maintaining a productive, sustainable, profitable market garden.

Theory + practical components cover the necessities for developing a site, specifically aspect, planning, design through to implementation including bed preparation options, innovative handheld tools, crop choices, propagation, harvesting + beyond to restaurant, retail or market.

We are excited to teach these principles on-farm so you can experience the activities formed within market garden production cycles.

"Efficient, lean and dynamic is the system they run. I treasure my time with Jodi and call on him often as he is guiding us through establishing our own local market garden. He is an amazing educator (if you can keep up!!) and is one of the most energetic people I know. His systems are constantly being refined to be the best as he works to grow a product that is both nutritious and environmentally friendly.

If you want to learn how to be an efficient home gardener or are thinking growing food for others is a life for you, a course with Jodi is a must-do. His generous sharing will see anyone off to a great start no matter what their endeavor or scale of food production."
