We are excited about this key event coming up soon! Inspired by the ever-growing, invigorating, UK farming festival, Groundswell - UNDERGROUND has been created to connect farmers and growers around the common grounds of soil, food and farming… with some music thrown in for good measure!

Having seen the positive impact that events like this can have - bringing much needed joy and connection in a space that can often feel isolating and hard - has inspired us to create something unique to our context in Aotearoa New Zealand.

UNDERGROUND’s mission is to connect people with ways to grow food in harmony with nature and papatūānuku, in the hope that they will feel inspired to change the way they grow, shop and eat.

Bringing diverse stories, ideas, people and practices together at the source of where our food comes from (on the land/whenua) is part of what makes UNDERGROUND unique.
